Philadelphia has established itself as a breeding ground for good hardcore. Fast and mean, Chemical Fix is a hardcore band that embodies all the snarl and aggression of the city that spawned it.
Drawing from influences like American Nightmare, Carry On and Panic, Chemical Fix is a new iteration of a classic style being modernly reinvigorated and pushed into harder, more aggressive directions.
In 2018 and 2019, Chemical Fix has done tours in the east coast and midwest, including dates with label mates Time and Pressure. In 2021 the band will release their first LP, “Our Shade Casts Far” with Safe Inside Records, recorded by the band’s own Wyatt Oberholzer (YOTK, No Option, Foreign Hands).
