Tuffie "Tuffie"

CD - $7.00
STREET DATE: 6/12/26
CAT#: SDR-165
LABEL: Sunday Drive

Tuffie’s self-titled debut EP is a thunderous mix of emo, post-hardcore, shoegaze, and power pop. Throughout the tracklist, the Minneapolis band’s loud-rock sound rallies around the ethereal melodies and lyrics of vocalist Ava Levy, a tension which reflects the emotional themes of the music; the contradictory combination of reflective melancholy and energetic catharsis.

Drawing together influences from bands like Drug Church, Draag, Slow Pulp, and Momma, Tuffie offers a new take on the alternative rock of past and present, unafraid to tread the line between indie and hardcore lineages. Having found their home at Sunday Drive records, the band is ready to introduce themselves with their first six songs. Front to back, the EP is a complete statement—but for the band, it’s only the beginning.
