In 1992, three Texas hardcore bands exploded onto the Dallas/Ft. Worth punk scene. Sharing a love of politically charged underground music and a desire to change the world, Sleeping Body, Voice of Reason, and Suiciety quickly became friends, and in a united front, launched a sonic barrage of socially conscious, emotionally driven, Texas hardcore music to challenge the status quo. The three bands released numerous 7” records and toured throughout the US, playing NYC's ABC No Rio, 924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, and just about every punk club, basement, and house party in between. Their chaotic and rabble-rousing live performances quickly became legendary. And then, as quickly as they came onto the scene, these three bands disappeared. This 3xLP set combines the classic and long out-of-print 7"s each band left in their wake, along with demos, live recordings, and unreleased studio material that have been unavailable until now. This retrospective release captures a small bit of the bands' energy in the form of collected tracks, photos, and flyer images in a triple gatefold sleeve. Having shared stages and ideals with more long-lasting bands such as Rorschach, DropDead, Born Against, Heroin, Downcast, Universal Order of Armageddon, and Econochrist, these three bands, bonded by a sense of friendship and a DIY attitude, created an indelible mark on hardcore that reflects the optimism and angst of that explosive year: 1992.

The album pulls unexpected punches like the howling violin riffs by Ben Karas (SlaughterSun/Thank You Scientist) on “Come Out and Play”. The band tears through 11 songs recorded at Frost Gauntlet Studio in Lyndhurst, NJ, with Karas behind the board and guest spots from Jeff “JJ” Janiak of Discharge, Andrew Moreski of Hard 2 Kill, Matthew Messina of Medicinal, JP Parsons of False Fed and more. The collaborative writing style of vocalist Natale Amato, drummer Frank Burdynski, bassist Thomas McGreevy, and guitarists Michael Ramirez and Michael Shepherd, allowed each member’s voice and in9uences to shape the music, resulting in a sound that feels intensely intimate yet universally resonant. Lyrically, Four Color Black confronts personal trauma and systemic struggles that affect many—but it also offers a sense of hope through shared experience. Formed in the Midwest, Porcupine began as a raw, uncompromising presence in the regional hardcore and heavy music scenes. From their earliest shows in basements and local halls, the band developed a reputation for emotionally intense performances and a sound that stood apart—fusing crushing heaviness with moments of bleak beauty and atmosphere. Their 2019 debut The Sibyl (New Morality Zine) introduced Porcupine as a band unwilling to play by the rules, earning them critical attention for its ambitious songwriting and sonic evolution. Porcupine were never content to stay static—and their work ethic reflected that. They spent years pushing a DIY ethos, helping build a thriving underground scene through consistent touring, collaborative releases, and a focus on meaningful community over clout. As word spread, so did their influence. Coverage from outlets like No Echo, BrooklynVegan, and The Alternative began surfacing, recognizing the band’s ability to craft heavy music that felt deeply personal and artistically driven.

Their 2024 LP All Is Vapor (released via New Morality Zine) marked a turning point. Praised for its emotional weight and sonic clarity, the album was a breakthrough moment—earning features on Bandcamp Daily, placements on Spotify editorial playlists like “All New Metal” and “Hardcore Rising,” and drawing in a wider national audience. The record captured Porcupine at full strength: confident, distinct, and unafraid to blur genre lines. Today, Porcupine stands as a vital force in contemporary heavy music—not just as a band, but as contributors to a larger culture of expression, intensity, and evolution.

This deluxe CD is a compilation of the band's 2024 release "All is Vapor" and it's companion EP, "Under the Altar", released in 2025.

Fuck Money is not just a band — it’s a confrontation. Their name is both a provocation and a statement of purpose. Fuck Money emerged from the underground of Austin, Texas in 2021 as a collective scream against capitalism, conformity, and creative stagnation. The band consists of members TaSzlin Trébuchet (vocals) Alton Jenkins (drums), Jeremy Humphries (bass guitar) and their new guitarist Chase Dungan who joined in February 2025. Chase does not appear on the self-titled LP release, but he will be featured at upcoming live performances (August 2025) where the band will be performing entirely new and unheard material. For the band’s first full length album, former guitarist Bill Kenny is on the recording.

This genre-defying band tears through the boundaries of hardcore punk, noise, and industrial chaos. Their sound is a riot: distorted basslines, visceral screams, ripping guitars, and melodic rhythms that punch like an elite boxer. Live shows are the centerpiece of the Fuck Money experience: volatile, intimate, and often unsettling. Their live performance feels more like ritual exorcism than entertainment. Fuck Money isn't here to entertain — they're here to explode. On stage, they are unpredictable, feral, and deeply cathartic.
