Honor Choir "Modes of Transport"

12" EP - $15.30
STREET DATE: 3/13/26
CAT#: SDR-155
LABEL: Sunday Drive

Oklahoma City continues to rise with a new wave of independent bands, and Honor Choir are at the forefront. Not only are they doing something different for OKC, they’re doing something different within today’s DIY music. While Blink-182 can be a common influence, Honor Choir push their anthemic pop-punk foundation further, pulling from early-2000s emo and post-hardcore touchstones like Hey Mercedes, New End Original and Rival Schools, alongside ’80s new-wave influences such as New Order and When in Rome.

That range can be heard clearly on “Satellite Receiver” which moves from an abrasive guitar riff into acoustic guitar and piano, and the five-minute closer “Envelope” feels like it could sit comfortably on New Order’s Republic. Honor Choir has mastered combining their range of influences into something incredibly cohesive, and manages to fit a chorus into each song that gets stuck in your head.

STREET DATE: 3/13/26
CAT#: SDR-159
LABEL: Sunday Drive

Listening to stripmallravestarrr brings an irresistible urge to dance and have fun. The electro-pop duo, consists of singer Beth Nutter and producer Jesse Innie, formed in Florida in 2022 and quickly built momentum through a run of singles, a pair of EPs, and a full-length album. “halo” marks their sophomore LP and first release on Sunday Drive Records.

On halo, stripmallravestarrr lean fully into their maximalist hyperpop and rave-like production, while introducing a stronger sense of melody and emotional weight. Tracks like “perennials” and “misconstrued” juxtapose melancholy lyrics with shimmering, high-energy production. No matter the emotional turn, the album’s pulse never drops, especially on the fast-beat singles like “november” and “2much”.

“halo” captures stripmallravestarrr at their most realized: euphoric, with genuine feeling, and a necessity to move.

Alovesopure "BITCRUSHER"

LP - $16.60
STREET DATE: 3/13/26
CAT#: SDR-160
LABEL: Sunday Drive

Since the release of alovesopure’s You’ll Be a Memory, Davilmar’s creative output has expanded across multiple bands and projects over the past few years. From the harsh noise of Incarnate to the crushing heaviness of Ephermal and the straightforward aggression of Collateral, alovesopure exists somewhere in between. It’s within this collision of sound and feeling that Davilmar thrives, and on the fourth full-length album, BITCRUSHER, that balance comes into focus as something dreamlike, nostalgic, and blissful.

BITCRUSHER is a record that can sit quietly in the background while the mind thrives in creativity or move fully to the foreground as the body pushes forward, running towards the light. Its versatility knows no bounds—BITCRUSHER adapts to wherever you are and wherever you’re headed.
