Southern California melodic punk veterans Gameface return with their first new recordings in over a decade. Featuring two brand-new songs, “All My Friends” and “Men of Stone,” this 7” finds the band as honest, heartfelt, and emotionally resonant as ever.

For more than 35 years, Gameface have occupied a singular place in punk and post-hardcore, earning a devoted following through deeply personal songwriting and acclaimed releases for Revelation Records, Doghouse Records, Equal Vision, and now a new chapter with Iodine Recordings. Rather than chasing trends, the band has remained committed to authenticity, creating music that continues to resonate across generations.

Written over several years and brought to life through the enduring friendship of the band, “All My Friends” and “Men of Stone” reflect on aging, loss, isolation, and the relationships that carry us through life’s darkest moments. The result is a poignant return from one of melodic punk’s most enduring and beloved bands.

LABEL: Devil Dog

New York's AEIOU put out their debut EP 'Jesse Ward' in June earlier this year. It's been on repeat ever since in the Devil Dog office and we're thrilled to be putting this out on Compact Disc & Cassette.

Praise from music journalist Andrew Sacher (Brooklyn Vegan)

"Aeiou are another very promising band bringing back second wave emo, and shoutout to my friend Eli Enis for introducing me to them just days before they opened for The Ritornello Form in NYC. They’re NYC locals (who share members with Holidays In United States and Cash Only Tonys), and their debut EP Jesse Ward kicks off with a song called “Supreme & Bowery” that gives you a very good idea of what they’re all about.

It opens with the mock sound of someone flipping through radio stations with sound bites that are full of inside jokes for emo nerds, and when the actual song kicks in, Aeiou prove that their emo quips come with emo chops. “Supreme & Bowery” punches you in the gut with a riff that’s just breakdowny enough to suggest Aeiou have some heavier post-hardcore or metalcore in their DNA, but once the vocals kick in, it’s soaring, yearning, ’90s-style emo in its purest form."

Foreign Body "Libertine"

LP - $17.90 / CD - $10.70 / CASSETTE - $8.75
STREET DATE: 9/11/26
CAT#: BPR-111
LABEL: Brutal Panda

Foreign Body play raw, hideous, and vulgar music. Emblematic of the seedy underbelly of yesterday’s New York City– where sex workers walked the streets freely, rubble and decay were prevalent, drugs were readily available and every businessman’s briefcase contained a loaded gun, the quartet spin Musou black yarns that polite society would rather have swept under the rug, soundtracking them with jaw-clenching and furious mid-tempo punk exploding with fresh ideas. And even though Foreign Body drips with a loathsome mix of hatred for modern living and a desire for its immolation, they’re also one of music’s most promising faces.

Libertine is wholly relentless album with unflinching portrayals of vice, perversions and glorified excesses. Their sophomore full-length was recorded by Matt Russell (REZN, Oozing Wound) and produced by Matt Ibarra of Rectal Hygienics.

16 Underground "Without a Trace"

12" EP - $15.30 / CD - $7.00
STREET DATE: 9/4/26
CAT#: SDR-166
LABEL: Sunday Drive

16 Underground formed in early 2022 out of a spirit of experimentation. The four Los Angeles-based musicians, whose musical backgrounds vary (but, notably, veer into hardcore/punk territory), wanted to push their creative limits by delving into sounds and textures that weren’t accessible through their previous projects—a new sonic palette inspired more by vintage trip-hop, ambient music, and electronic pop than the guitar-based modes they cut their teeth on.

“Without a Trace”, due out August 14 via Sunday Drive Records, was produced in collaboration with Max Epstein (Photographic Memory, Car Underwater). The band’s sophomore effort leans into a sound that still resonates in today’s dreampop landscape while also reflecting the retro radio influences to which the group pays homage. Synths swirl in stereo while lo-fi trip-hop backbeats churn. Keyboards gesture at times towards loungey jazz; guitars towards emo and shoegaze. Subsonic bass frequencies throb; digital artifacts and samples blip and whisper. Amidst it all, the ethereal, melodic vocals lull the listener into a state of bittersweet bliss.

Trip Six "Back With A Vengeance"

LP - $15.95
STREET DATE: 8/21/26
CAT#: RADIO-040
LABEL: Radio Raheem

One of our favorite cult classic NYHC bands finally gets the Radio Raheem treatment! Trip 6 formed from the ashes of legendary NYHC enigmas The Psychos, with ex-Psychos Tommy Rat (vocals) and Stu Psycho (guitar) teaming up with ex-Ultra Violence/WarZone drummer Charlie Rage and bassist Zippy. This lineup existed for about a year and managed to turn the crunchy, metal-tinged Psychos set list into one of, if not thee, rawest and and most blown out NYHC release of its time, 1987's "Back With A Vengeance" cassette. The cassette included new versions of nine Psychos classics plus four new cuts.

During their brief existence, Trip 6 also contributed the title track of the demo to Revelation Records' classic "New York City Hardcore – The Way It Is" compilation LP and recorded live sets on WNYU and WFMU radio, the latter of which is presented here on side B. The WFMU set from March 1988 features new drummer R.B. and includes several songs that never made it to the studio proper, as well as some choice banter from the band.

The LP is rounded out with a 12"x36" fold-out insert featuring flyers and photos from Trip 6's scant few live appearances, as well as lyrics and a reproduction of the original demo sleeve.

TRACK LISTING:
01. Trip Six Intro
02. Just Us

Brooke Smith "Sunday Matinee" Third Printing

BOOK - $25.65
STREET DATE: 08/21/26
CAT#: RADIO-SM-3
LABEL: Radio Raheem

If the name Brooke Smith is known to the general public, it is from her acting on television shows such as Grey’s Anatomy and Ray Donovan or her role as Catherine Martin in Silence of the Lambs. But prior to all that, Brooke was a participant in the New York Hardcore scene of the 1980s, photographing bands at CBGB’s notorious Sunday afternoon gigs and hanging out on the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

In 2010 when Brooke was moving, a box was unearthed of the photos she’d taken during that heady time in her life. A year later, these pictures were exhibited at the Primary Gallery in New York City under the appropriate title, Sunday Matinee. Soon after the exhibit closed, Smith began combing through the thousands of pictures she had snapped in the hopes of editing them down into a book.

Now, after years of painstaking assembly, the book Sunday Matinee will finally see the light of day through Radio Raheem Records. Made up of live shots of Bad Brains, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Murphy’s Law, and Underdog as well as candid photography of the colorful characters who made up the New York Hardcore scene, Sunday Matinee documents all the thrill and excitement of a Sunday afternoon on the Bowery in the 1980s and gifts it to you from the safety of the present day.

Sunday Matinee contains over 140 images, both color and black & white, spread across 160 pages in a clothbound 11"x11" book. Third printing of 500 copies.

MARKETING POINTS:

  • Photos by Brooke Smith actor from Grey's Anatomy, Ray Donovan and Silence of the Lambs
  • Live shots of Bad Brains, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Murphy’s Law, and Underdog as well as candid photography of the colorful characters who made up the New York Hardcore scene

Bob Barry "Photos by Bob B."

BOOK - $14.00
STREET DATE: 08/21/26
CAT#: RADIO-BOB
LABEL: Radio Raheem

A couple years ago our friends at Generation Records turned up a very cool lost photo album from their friend Robert Barry, a native Long Islander who was taking pictures around various New York City underground music scenes in the later 80s/early 90s. We toyed with a few different ideas on how to use them, and in the end decided to just reproduce everything as-is in a simple fanzine format split between our two labels.

This book is an almost-exact reproduction of the original album, right down to Bob's original clippings attached to the classic 1980s peel-n-stick photo album pages, and captures a candid snapshot (pun fully intended) of an era when the lines between underground music scenes were a lot more blurred — the bands featured run the gambit from the Bad Brains to Mental Abuse to Sonic Youth to rare club show appearances of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Megadeth, and everyone in between. When was the last time you saw Krakdown and Dick Dale featured in the same publication?!

Features approximately 300 photos of 27 bands spread across 80 pages in glorious full color. Each copy comes with an original photo print attached to the front cover. Limited to 300 copies.

MARKETING POINTS:

  • Comes with one of 3 original photo prints on the cover

The Abused "Loud And Clear"

LP - $17.25
STREET DATE: 8/21/26
CAT#: RADIO-003
LABEL: Radio Raheem

What else can we say? Reissuing The Abused "Loud And Clear" EP was one of the main reasons we at Radio Raheem started this label back in 2012. You can take your pick of urban legends as to The Abused's influences: some say the band stole a car with a Minor Threat cassette stuck in the tape deck, and others say they played their Black Sabbath records on 78rpm and tried to emulate what they heard. Either way, "Loud And Clear" is, in our not-so-humble opinion, the total package of early New York Hardcore — some of the best and hardest music combined with some of first-gen hardcore's greatest artwork courtesy of vocalist Kevin Crowley.

Since we're not content to do straight reissues, we expanded the EP out into an LP, adding the band's equally great 12-song demo tape, and a killer live cut of "Police Reign," a song that never made it to the studio. With this new 2026 pressing, have the privilege of adding one more non-studio cut — "Friend Or Foe" — taken from the same excellent quality live set as "Police Reign." If you didn't have the pleasure of hearing "Friend Or Foe" live back in the day or at one of the band's 2000s era reunions, think "Hole In The Sky" by Black Sabbath filtered through NYHC's class of '83. Truly one of the greatest lost NYHC tracks.

We've also updated the original 2013 LP packaging into a standard 2-pocket gatefold sleeve along with a revised 28-page, full-color booklet featuring all of Kevin Crowley's legendary flyers and artwork, meticulously restored from the original pen-and-ink drawings, plus many newly unearthed photos, lost lyrics and flyers not included in the original pressing.

What are you waiting for? Blow your brains out (with this LP)!

Murphy's Law "Bong Blast"

LP - $17.25
STREET DATE: 8/21/26
CAT#: RADIO-039
LABEL: Radio Raheem

In 1983, Murphy's Law issued their first release: a limited edition nine-song cassette entitled "Bong Blast" that captured the band thrashing away live at various CBGB hardcore matinees. These nine tracks are the perfect representation of the band — "thrash, punk, metal and reggae all thrown together in a humorous way" as Maximumrocknroll aptly put it way back in 1983, and which still rings true today. The original lineup represented here included vocalist Jimmy G, guitarist Alex "Uncle Al" Morris, Cro-Mags founder Harley Flanagan on drums, and early Agnostic Front bassist Adam Mucci.

The band's own Creepy Crawl label would later press "Bong Blast" on LP and CD in the mid '90s, but this release went quickly out of print with most copies ending up overseas and these days commands a premium on the collector market. Radio Raheem and Generation Records are proud to bring this release back to life the only way we know how: with lots of extras!

This new vinyl pressing adds five bonus tracks recorded in the summer of 1985 with Jimmy and Uncle Al being joined by drummer Petey Hines and future Underdog bassist Russ Iglay. These tracks were rumored to have been recorded as an EP for BYO Records, but for reasons unknown, only made it out into the world as promo cassettes sent to a handful of fanzines (with the copy used for this release coming from the Flipside archives). The band would later re-record these five tracks for their 1986 debut LP on Profile Records and the rest, as they say, is history. Rounding out the package is a 16-page, 12"x12" full-color booklet featuring the usual goods: many never-before seen photos, flyers, and other bits of forgotten ephemera.

Split release with our friends Generation Records in NYC, available on green vinyl from Radio Raheem and yellow vinyl from Generation.

New Forms is a manifestation of both passion and dedication to craft, converging in an expression of longing and belonging. With a wall-of-sound approach that eschews repetition, New Forms has continued to hone their sound since their inception in 2018.

Bassist Travis Fitzgerald, guitarist Justin Valliere, and drummer Chris Musser expanded after their first release I Don’t Want to Live My Life Again to include vocalist Mary White-Valliere and guitarist Jake Letizia. Their collective first LP As Dust Collects brought them on tours with Crowning, Beau Navire, and Jerome’s Dream, while seeing them placed on several DIY festivals around the country including California Kicks, New Friends Fest, ZBR Fest, and Dilly Dally Fest.

New Forms is known for the intensity of their live shows, hitting with a pummeling force that offers little reprieve. While the moments are brief, they are able to create mournfully melodic passages, allowing their intensity to return like an earthquake’s impact in mono-pitched vocals, blended perfectly with the instrumentation. New Forms has a gritty sound with deeply emotional lyrics that are lamentations on memory, trauma, and loss, often tied to themes of nature.

“I have found my voice in this band and it’s allowed me to offer up words to others that I wish someone had spoken to me earlier in life,” White-Valliere plainly explains. “I never want to stop connecting with others and pouring love into the type of community that builds us all up.”

New Forms EP Nothing’s Sacred Anymore is their first release with Iodine Recordings. Engineered and mixed at God City by Zach Weeks (Deafheaven, The Armed, Cerce) and mastered by Nick Townsend (Fleshwater, Full of Hell, Nails), Nothing’s Sacred Anymore was recorded to tape, giving it an unmistakable rawness that only reel-to-reel media can provide.

New Forms’s immersion in the DIY scene is at their core and is continued through their work. White-Valliere states, “New Forms is us finding and trying to nourish a community we sincerely want to thrive. It’s about putting out into the world the things we wish someone shared with us at times in our lives when things felt overwhelmingly lonely. We pour our energy, emotions and ourselves into making New Forms something sincere to us.”

Her Head's On Fire "Am I Not Your Girl?"

LP - $17.25
LP UPC: 725305742287
STREET DATE: 07/17/26
CAT#: IOD-97
LABEL: Iodine Recordings

Her Head’s on Fire announce their new record Am I Not Your Girl via Iodine Recordings, the latest from a band that’s excelled at weaving past and present to deliver rock music that hits a sweet spot of post-hardcore grit and genuine songcraft. Am I Not Your Girl? is an exercise in simplicity born from years of consistency, prioritizing true-blue songwriting that draws on a lifetime of influences: big choruses, big moments, big emotions.

Despite its members having played in a murderer’s row of beloved, important bands in the worlds of post-hardcore and emo (Garrison, Saves the Day, The Bomb, and more), the four-piece have locked in on what the band really is. Her Head’s on Fire isn’t trying to coast off those acts but rather push their work forward.

Mixed by Jack Shirley, the album excels at making the listener feel like they’re in the room with the band as it happens, with production focused on capturing the music live rather than creating anything artificial.

Nowhere is the band’s philosophy better illustrated than in Am I Not Your Girl’s cover art. Painted by Joy Johnson and inspired by the photography of Nan Goldin, it’s a collage of illusory moments all occurring within the same space, one emotion bleeding into the next.

“Maybe this record’s on in the background while people have a beautiful conversation, fall in love, or navigate a brutal moment,” Jagger says. “I am honored to be any part of that soundtrack.”

At the core of the band’s mission is community: playing shows and inviting the world in.

Dad Hats "Teenage Dirtbag & Never Better"

7" EP - $7.00
STREET DATE: 7/10/26
CAT#: MOM099
LABEL: Mind Over Matter

After their successful sophomore LP 'Spill' came out a couple years back, Dad Hats have been quietly holed up and working on tons of new music, much of which will surface in the form of their next LP which is due out later this year. Since we last heard from our pop punk heroes, they added a member (Zak Klaine, bass), which freed up vocalist Craig Turner to focus on his unique blend of self-loathing and incredibly well-crafted harmonies. Rounded out by drummer Joe Halby and guitarists Tyler Coleman & Nate Sorg, Dad Hats have officially found their stride in the genre of pop-punk-kids-drowning-in-the-minutiae-of-adulthood.

Kicking off the first side of this 7" is undoubtledly the feel good, dopamine-hit-of-nostalgia cover of Wheatus' Teenage Dirtbag, expertly executed. It's hard to think of a cover song that is more suited for the band than this one, and if you've caught them live in the past several months, you already know how amazing it is!

Rounding out the b-side of the record is a new track titled Never Better. A re-recorded version of this song will be included in the forthcoming full length album, and it's packed full of the sarcastic misery and self-deprecation that the band is already known for...just dialed up to 11. It's infectious and - on it's face - seems like a chirpy, summertime bop until you really start to peel back the tongue-in-cheek layers. Vocalist Craig Turner has never been more raw, and we get that balanced on top of some of most entertaining music the band has created to date!

This new EP was recorded at Costume Party Records in Nashville, TN, mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath, etc) and then mastered by Eric Mitchell (Glassjaw) before being pressed on two wild and fun colors.

TRACK LISTING:
01. Teenage Dirtbag
02. Never Better

MARKETING POINTS:

  • Dad Hats features ex-members of Foxy Shazam
  • Mixed by James Paul Wisner (Paramore, Underoath)
  • Mastered by Eric Mitchell (Glassjaw)
  • Vinyl is limited to 200 copies, featuring a cover of Wheatus' "Teenage Dirtbag"
  • Two different color variants

Whether you choose to label it screamo, emo-violence or skramz, one thing we can agree on is that many bands live by the mantra of “here today, gone today”. Whether intentional or simply burning brightly before running out ideas, it's somewhat uncommon for acts to make it past the three year mark. Since their formation in 2016, Milwaukee trio Snag have quietly carved out their own unique space in the DIY underground, quickly becoming a favorite of listeners hungry for emotional hardcore that delivered more than just aimless chaos. On All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn To Dust, the band's third LP and first for Deathwish Inc, Snag continue to develop their brand of heavy emo, expanding melodically and texturally without losing their edge. “Musically, the album is punishing at moments; fast and heavy but also soft and beautiful” says guitarist and vocalist Samm Szymborski. “We wanted to write something that spans all things musically that we are interested in. We wanted to write an album that goes straight to the point and represents Snag as a whole.”

Working with engineer Nick Elert, the album was tracked live over the course of three days in July 2025, adding vocals a month later after experiencing an unexpected power outage at the studio. Compared to the band's prior output, All the Cages is a little more spacious in its production, with Elert introducing a touch of ambiance into the Snag sonic world that’s a welcome addition. The frantic start and stop tempos, the panic-stricken screams and melancholic chord progressions are all still there, but the album displays plenty of growth as well. Throughout its 11 tracks, Snag exhibit the expansion of their sound in both directions-at times more melodic and others more aggressive than their previous releases.

Snag’s lyrical approach has often been more universal, focusing on broader themes like climate anxiety and apocalyptic dread. Many of the lyrics on All the Cages show the band looking inward, drawing on the band members’ personal experiences with chronic illness and mental health obstacles. “After going through some mental health struggles this past year, and being in a relationship with someone who is chronically ill, being part of writing this album has helped me through some of those struggles,” says drummer and vocalist Bryan Wysocki. “The album is an odyssey through all the cages one may be trapped in whether it be physically, mentally, as a product of society or as a product of our own being.” The theme of cages weaves its way throughout the lyrics of the album; on “Unarrest Me”, it’s the physical cage of a jail cell, on “Debilitated”, it’s the cage of one's own body, on “Shelf Life”, it’s the cage of materialism.

From the beginning, acting on the message has always been a part of Snag’s agenda, with the lyrics serving as a suggestion for active involvement. Along with the imperative lyric sheet, their self-titled debut LP also came with a book of matches and an envelope of seeds, encouraging the listener to help grow new habitats for pollinators. For All The Cages, the band once again chose to use the LP format as a means for action, working with the Florida-based organization Wire of Hope to include individually labeled envelopes to inmates as an invitation for listeners to have a prison pen pal.

“The logic that says a corporation can destroy the planet to extract profit from it systematically is the same basic logic that says humans can be systematically caged for profit,” says bassist and vocalist Peter Murphy. “It’s probably safe to say every person who hears this album is a lot closer to being incarcerated than to being one of the billionaires that seek ever more control. We thought we could make that connection much more explicit with a homework assignment in the record insert. And hopefully foster friendship and connection as well.”

The intentionality of the band's lyrical approach extends to the music, as well. Snag has always been far more than a mere throwback, consciously bringing something new to a subgenre that often does little to move beyond the influence of its forebearers. All The Cages sees the band continue on this path, recalling the sounds of progressive and dynamic acts like Majority Rule, Welcome the Plague Year, and Kidcrash. “We made a decision a long time ago to simply make the music that we like and to not try to fit into genre conventions” says Murphy. “That decision gave us permission to try different instrumentation and stylistic approaches to songs, which resulted in a few unusual moments on this album.”

One of those moments is the track “Juneberry”, a somber Americana-tinged track that features splashes of pedal steel, horns and layered harmonies. For Snag, “Juneberry” could have easily been a sore thumb, but they succeeded in seamlessly incorporating newer elements into their sound without sounding forced. “Whisper” subtly recalls acts like Sigur Ros with its chord progression, trading the menacing riffage for something more melodic and sentimental. “Pray for Peace” features driving, downstrummed Wipers-indebted rhythm guitars that show a more straight-forward side of Snag, before giving way to unrelenting blast beats and an eventual piano coda. The use of piano continues on “Paris, WI”, a haunting ballad that nods to Thee Silver Mount Zion and Pygmy Lush.

All the Cages marks the band’s first time working with Deathwish Inc, the stalwart label known for championing some of modern aggressive music's best and most forward-thinking acts. For Snag , who previously worked with smaller DIY labels like Middle Man and Zegema Beach, working with Deathwish was an opportunity to continue the tradition on a larger scale.

“Deathwish has been responsible for some of our absolute favorite releases,” said Szymborski. “We had been working with them on distribution here and there since around 2021, and the pieces finally came together for a proper release this year.” Ultimately, now a decade into their existence, Snag continues to be one of the most unique voices in modern DIY hardcore. The members’ commitment to the band can be seen as largely personal; they need the music as much as it needs them. Beyond that, it’s quite simple: they have yet to grow bored with the thing that captured their attention and imaginations as kids.

“When we started the band we were in some of the most depressive periods of our lives, and it offered an outlet, camaraderie, and hope,” says Wysocki. “It hasn’t stopped since.”

Snag’s third LP, All The Cages Holding Us Will One Day Turn To Dust is set for release on July 10 via Deathwish Inc. Lead single “Debilitated” is currently available on all major streaming platforms.
