Baltimore’s Dosser return with Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake, their second full-length and first for Iodine Recordings. Coming out of the London and Brighton hardcore scene just over a year ago, Turn of Phrase have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most promising new hardcore bands. Constantly on the DIY touring circuit alongside both friends’ bands and longtime influences, they’ve wasted little time building momentum. In just over a year, they’ve released a demo, two songs on a split 7” with New York City hardcore band Square One, and now return with seven new tracks on their debut 12” EP, “Out in the Water”

Across the EP, Turn of Phrase continue to refine their sound of fast, melodic hardcore, pulling from early-2000s hardcore and ‘90s emo. Lyrically, vocalist Logan Grant explores friendship, love, and the importance of remaining present. Returning after almost six years of silence, In Parallel is back with three new emotional songs and an incredible package to house them in. Featuring members of Hopesfall and Celebrity, In Parallel is a moody and dense continuation of the legacy created by everyone in this group. Their new EP, titled Moral Injury, marks their first release with DIY label Mind Over Matter Records.

In the post-COVID landscape, the band was eager to get into a room and work on music together so they booked studio time with no agenda in mind and proceeded to write and record these three songs over the course of a weekend. Reflecting on a horrific school shooting that happened literally within the same neighborhood as Ryan Parrish's home in Tennessee, the event bled deeply into the musical and lyrical themes of the record, with the EP overtly addressing the gun violence epidemic in the United States and the feeling of being unmoored in the current political and cultural landscape.

The lead single, Carson Lore, kicks off the EP with a stark message, setting the tone for the entirety of the release. Speaking of Carson Lore, the band says: "This song reflects our feelings about the political nature of gun violence in America. The line 'this place wants us dead' at the start of the song, expresses the dark truth of an extremist fueled, capitalistic distortion of the second amendment, bent to meet a fear based battle cry for more. More guns, guns capable of exacting the most amount of devastation, without restriction, at any cost to American lives. Fear lines the pockets of powerful men. Always question the motive."

Eschewing their stark, black & white visual aesthetics from their previous efforts, In Parallel have found a way to somehow effortlessly blend gorgeous neon into their new appearance, somehow still keeping everything cohesively dark and morose, which ties seamlessly into the subject matter of this new EP. We worked alongside the band to maintain their newfound visual identity and to complete it with some really unique touches on the packaging and layout of this record. We screen printed the b-side of the vinyl with a dark and ominous black design that opposes beautifully with the gorgeous irridescent vinyl swirls. Then, we printed strips of French Paper and wrapped them along the bottom edge of the album jacket, giving us a space to hand number each one, but also giving the album art a wonderfully tactile component along with the reverseboard printed jackets. As an added bonus, we flooded the inside of the jacket with a bright pink glow, which again opposes the darkness of the album beautifully. Truly, this album has to be held in order to truly grasp all of the details contained within. Words do it no justice.

Lastly (and most importantly), we will be donating a portion of each record sold to a local Nashville organization named Safer TN that works to prevent gun violence and provide support to those affected by it. We are proud to be able to support this organization and hope that you will join us in doing so.

Chastity "I Built This Prison Myself"

Chastity is for the skids, the headbangers, the freaks – for anyone who has felt trapped inside a place, a life, or a version of themselves that they didn’t choose. Since forming the project in Whitby Ontario, Brandon Williams has built Chastity around a suburban feeling, creating songs as an outstretched hand, and building community as a way of surviving.

On November 13 2026, Chastity return with ‘I Built This Prison Myself’, a record about fighting for yourself. It is Williams’ most narrative work yet, based on a story that has haunted his hometown for generations: the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital and the 1976 fire set by a 16 year old patient who burned down a massive barn on the hospital grounds. The record imagines the boy behind that fire, not as a symbol of destruction, but as a young person confronting fear, powerlessness, control, and the hope to remain himself.

The album’s title is both accusation and admission. I Built This Prison Myself asks what happens when the forces that confine us become internalized - when survival mechanisms harden into walls, and the parts of ourselves we fought to protect begin to resemble the things that keep us trapped. Across the 10 songs on the album, Williams turns those questions over with characteristic urgency: What if the parts of yourself others think are broken are the parts that are most worth protecting?

Chastity’s new record hurtles through melodic hardcore, shoegaze and punk, and arrives on the heels of a whirlwind past few years for the band. There weren’t any venues for independent punk music in their suburban town, so Chastity started throwing shows in a barn in Whitby’s rural outskirts, and people took notice. Before long, punk stalwarts like PUP and Metz were making the pilgrimage to the barn to headline gigs, and profits from the shows went to a regional youth mental health service. Chastity spent the next years touring internationally, including shows with Sunny Day Real Estate, Alexisonfire and Deafheaven.

The new record follows Chastity’s progression from the conceptual mortality of Death Lust, through the anxiety of Home Made Satan and the search for happiness on Suffer Summer, to the deeply autobiographical Chastity. Here, Williams turns outward again, via a story from Whitby’s past, to explore questions that remain painfully present today.

I Built This Prison Myself is a story about fighting fire with fire. It is about the people in our lives who fail us, and the terrifying possibility that no one is coming to help. Above all, it asks what remains when everything designed to contain you has failed: Can you still find a way out?

In an effort to carry forward the legacy created by Arctic Rodeo Records, we wanted to give this album the reissue treatment it deserves, which includes revised artwork and some ultra-limited pressing quantities in partnership with some of our favorite labels from around the world!

Using the incredible artwork provided by Josh Keyes, we were able to create an breathtaking second run of Hail Hallucinator by working alongside some of our favorite record labels. Between ourselves, Thirty Something Records in Europe and Stiff Slack Records in Japan, each region will have its own unique pressing and unique album art, with every new version being different - but still related to the original - courtesy of the tie-in with the original artist who created the album art for the Arctic Rodeo pressing.

We worked closely with the band to bring each of the four new paintings to life and to tie them into the re-structured album art, making this a very collaboritve effort. Of course, it's a real treasure to be able to work in partnership with so many esteemed parties as well!

Aside from the fresh album artwork, we also cut brand new lacquers, somehow giving this reissue a richer and more dynamic sound. We also worked with the band to dig up a long-lost demo track, remastered that bad boy, and each copy of Hail Hallucinator will come with a free flexi with a bonus track!

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, Underdark has forged a unique sonic identity that blends elements of black metal, post-rock, and post-hardcore. Following the release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Managed Decline’ [released in 2023 via Church Road Records], Underdark had the privilege of performing with artists, Ghost Bath, Svalbard and Burner alongside festival appearances at ArcTanGent in 2024 & 2025, Damnation Festival, Culthe Festival in Germany and concluded the year with a sold out show at the Black Heart in London performing “Managed Decline” in its entirety.

With Managed Decline, Underdark continued to push the boundaries of their genre, delivering a deeply immersive and thought-provoking experience, showcasing their growth as musicians and their dedication to crafting music that resonates on a profound level, driven by a narrative around the collapse of post-industrial Britain.

‘O Come Forth Annihilation’ finds the band deepening their dialogue with that album’s themes, while shifting focus from historical decay to the crises of the present moment. The album fixes a disdainful and wary gaze on the perpetual now: the suffocating atmosphere of a world tightening ever more around the necks of its inhabitants, haunted by a future that failed to materialise.

In ‘O Come Forth Annihilation’, Underdark has stretched their black metal foundations into something broader, heavier and impossible to contain. Crushing low-end frequencies anchor this record firmly in the band's extreme metal roots, a solid foundation for a further push into the post-rock and screamo territories, expanding on the ideas and textures that have made their sound so vital since the band’s inception.

In Dead Deities, SATANIC PLANET’s new album on Three One G/ Relapse Records, we see a band coming into its own while offering an aggressive, pitch-black, deeply surly call-to-arms against autocracy in the age of Christian nationalism. Lucien Greaves (The Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera, First Power Crew, Variations In the Key of the Afterlife), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross), and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Swing Kids, Deaf Club) are now a fully together-in-the-studio band with razor-sharpened focus, creating a sound and lyrical catalog of ideas that Greaves says is both more personal and even closer aligned to the goals of The Satanic Temple, which through art, action, and activism seeks to “encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practiced common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits.” The Satanic Temple and SATANIC PLANET are here to empower all those who are needed in the ongoing battle against theocracy, apathy, and inequality.

Dead Deities begins as a brooding, doomy soundscape with backwards ritualistic vocals that churn forward like a barbaric horror flick scene before launching into the aptly named “Antichrist,” with a hypnotic, screamy post-post-post-hardcore intro that melds into a slow, nasty, heavy vision of what pop music might sound like in Hell. This 11-track stygian brute of an album is a journey through modern dark music with tolling bells, blackened synth, diabolical noise interludes, drums as heavy as a mountain, and group vocals torn straight out of your best-worst nightmares.

The record’s first single, “Sam Alito’s Mom,” references the arch-conservative Supreme Court Justice known for his work in helping to overturn Roe v. Wade. The track is an all-out assault on an absolute piece of human dogshit with Greaves and Pearson’s vocals twisting around each other like cobras at a slow, growling pace of pure sunless devastation. This is music that has come from decades of in-the-trenches touring and experimentation, from Slayer to the Locust, Planet B’s avant-garde sci-fi hip-hop to Mr. Bungle’s bizarro metal orchestrations. In Dead Deities you feel this godless wave of collected history building up to birth a gruesome new monster.

In an age of regression, reversed social betterment, and the label “terrorist” slapped on anyone brave enough to oppose the men in power, this is protest music with bite and bark in lethal, equal doses. If the goal is us taking care of each in dangerous times, SATANIC PLANET has your back (while holding the gore-dripping, ripped-out spinal column of your enemy up to the blood-red sun). NØ MAN is a Washington, D.C. political hardcore punk band formed in 2017. Featuring Maha Shami on vocals, Matthew Michel on guitar, Pat Broderick on drums, and Kevin Lamiell on bass, the band features members of Majority Rule.

Between the Sword and the Neck is NØ MAN’s fourth LP and their second album with Iodine Recordings. Across a blistering 26-minute runtime, the band merges pummeling hardcore, political urgency, grief, love, rage, and Palestinian poetry into their most vulnerable and unrelenting work to date.

The album is rooted in the Arabic word “sumud,” meaning steadfastness or perseverance, and channels vocalist Maha Shami’s lived experience as a daughter of Palestinian refugees. The title Between the Sword and the Neck is taken from Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, referencing the impossibility of genuine negotiation between an oppressor and the oppressed.

Throughout the record, Shami’s lyricism draws from Palestinian history, poetry, family, grief, resistance, survival, and refusal of erasure. The album features guest vocals from Kat Hidalgo and Jenna Pup on “In Spite,” quotations from Ghassan Kanafani, Fadwa Tuqan, and Mahmoud Darwish on “In Tongues,” and names of lives lost to the occupation read by friends and family on “They Have Names.”

Recorded and self-produced by the band, mixed by Matthew Michel, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, Between the Sword and the Neck stands as NØ MAN’s most intimate and politically charged statement to date.
