LABEL: Iodine Recordings

Baltimore’s Dosser return with Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake, their second full-length and first for Iodine Recordings. Building on the dense, melodic alternative rock of Violent Picture/Violent Sound, the band pushes further into the tension between heaviness and restraint, drawing from the weight and atmosphere of Failure, HUM, Shiner, Heatmiser, and Jawbox while maintaining a sound distinctly their own.

Across eight songs, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake circles feelings of isolation, exhaustion, disconnection, and the search for something solid in a world that increasingly treats people as disposable. The album’s title emerged from an unlikely exchange with a suspected bot account, whose broken response, “good for nothing, born for nothing, born by mistake,” became an unexpectedly fitting metaphor for the record.

Recorded, produced, and mixed by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Drain, Koyo) and mastered by Mike Kalajian, Born for Nothing/Born by Mistake captures Dosser at their most focused, balancing layered guitars, driving rhythms, and melodic immediacy with the urgency of the Baltimore DIY scene.

Turn of Phrase "Out in the Water"

LP - $15.30
LP UPC: 840526517985
STREET DATE: 11/20/26
CAT#: SDR-170
LABEL: Sunday Drive

Coming out of the London and Brighton hardcore scene just over a year ago, Turn of Phrase have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most promising new hardcore bands. Constantly on the DIY touring circuit alongside both friends’ bands and longtime influences, they’ve wasted little time building momentum. In just over a year, they’ve released a demo, two songs on a split 7” with New York City hardcore band Square One, and now return with seven new tracks on their debut 12” EP, “Out in the Water”

Across the EP, Turn of Phrase continue to refine their sound of fast, melodic hardcore, pulling from early-2000s hardcore and ‘90s emo. Lyrically, vocalist Logan Grant explores friendship, love, and the importance of remaining present. His writing reflects on past mistakes, embraces the inevitability of making new ones, and finds meaning in continuing forward despite life’s uncertainty.

“Out in the Water” captures the feeling of drifting through the unknown, surrounded by both emptiness and possibility, and somehow finding the strength to keep moving.

Chastity "I Built This Prison Myself"

LP - $17.25
STREET DATE: 11/13/26
CAT#: DW274
LABEL: Deathwish Inc.

Chastity is for the skids, the headbangers, the freaks – for anyone who has felt trapped inside a place, a life, or a version of themselves that they didn’t choose. Since forming the project in Whitby Ontario, Brandon Williams has built Chastity around a suburban feeling, creating songs as an outstretched hand, and building community as a way of surviving.

On November 13 2026, Chastity return with ‘I Built This Prison Myself’, a record about fighting for yourself. It is Williams’ most narrative work yet, based on a story that has haunted his hometown for generations: the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital and the 1976 fire set by a 16 year old patient who burned down a massive barn on the hospital grounds. The record imagines the boy behind that fire, not as a symbol of destruction, but as a young person confronting fear, powerlessness, control, and the hope to remain himself.

The album’s title is both accusation and admission. I Built This Prison Myself asks what happens when the forces that confine us become internalized - when survival mechanisms harden into walls, and the parts of ourselves we fought to protect begin to resemble the things that keep us trapped. Across the 10 songs on the album, Williams turns those questions over with characteristic urgency: What if the parts of yourself others think are broken are the parts that are most worth protecting?

Chastity’s new record hurtles through melodic hardcore, shoegaze and punk, and arrives on the heels of a whirlwind past few years for the band. There weren’t any venues for independent punk music in their suburban town, so Chastity started throwing shows in a barn in Whitby’s rural outskirts, and people took notice. Before long, punk stalwarts like PUP and Metz were making the pilgrimage to the barn to headline gigs, and profits from the shows went to a regional youth mental health service. Chastity spent the next years touring internationally, including shows with Sunny Day Real Estate, Alexisonfire and Deafheaven.

The new record follows Chastity’s progression from the conceptual mortality of Death Lust, through the anxiety of Home Made Satan and the search for happiness on Suffer Summer, to the deeply autobiographical Chastity. Here, Williams turns outward again, via a story from Whitby’s past, to explore questions that remain painfully present today.

I Built This Prison Myself is a story about fighting fire with fire. It is about the people in our lives who fail us, and the terrifying possibility that no one is coming to help. Above all, it asks what remains when everything designed to contain you has failed: Can you still find a way out?

TRACK LISTING:
01. Blink and See God
02. Don't Lose the Feeling
03. Jesus Christ Superstore
04. Misled Youth
05. Error of My Ways
06. Fighting
07. So Alive I Cry
08. No One
09. Seeing Red
10. Making Peace

MARKETING POINTS:

  • Concept album around the 1976 barn fire at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital property (now known as Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences) in Durham
  • Until 1978 in Canada, lobotomies were done without a patient's consent, causing permanent emotional and intellectual damage. In 1976, a 16 year old patient at Whitby Psychiatric Hospital had a fork in the road, a match, and an idea to burn down a massive barn. I believe he was looking out for himself when nobody else was, and that is what the album ‘I Built This Prison Myself’ is about.

Underdark "O Come Forth Annihilation"

LP - $19.40 / CD - $12.00
STREET DATE: 11/06/26
CAT#: CRR267
LABEL: Church Road

Underdark announce their stunning new album ‘O Come Forth Annihilation’, out 6th November via Church Road Records.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of influences, Underdark has forged a unique sonic identity that blends elements of black metal, post-rock, and post-hardcore. Their music is characterized by ethereal melodies, atmospheric textures, and intense, emotive vocals. Their music transports listeners through a range of emotions, from hauntingly beautiful passages to moments of intense catharsis. Their ability to seamlessly combine the ferocity of black metal with the expansiveness of post-rock sets them apart in the modern music landscape.

Following the release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Managed Decline’ [released in 2023 via Church Road Records], Underdark had the privilege of performing with artists, Ghost Bath, Svalbard and Burner alongside festival appearances at ArcTanGent in 2024 & 2025, Damnation Festival, Culthe Festival in Germany and concluded the year with a sold out show at the Black Heart in London performing “Managed Decline” in its entirety.

With Managed Decline, Underdark continued to push the boundaries of their genre, delivering a deeply immersive and thought-provoking experience, showcasing their growth as musicians and their dedication to crafting music that resonates on a profound level, driven by a narrative around the collapse of post-industrial Britain.

‘O Come Forth Annihilation’ finds the band deepening their dialogue with that album’s themes, while shifting focus from historical decay to the crises of the present moment. The album fixes a disdainful and wary gaze on the perpetual now: the suffocating atmosphere of a world tightening ever more around the necks of its inhabitants, haunted by a future that failed to materialise.

In ‘O Come Forth Annihilation’, Underdark has stretched their black metal foundations into something broader, heavier and impossible to contain. Crushing low-end frequencies anchor this record firmly in the band's extreme metal roots, a solid foundation for a further push into the post-rock and screamo territories, expanding on the ideas and textures that have made their sound so vital since the band’s inception.

‘O Come Forth Annihilation’ is extreme music bound by emotional intensity, intent on touching all corners of the listener's psyche.

03. Death of a Toolmaker
04. Hollow Platitudes
05. Foucault Wept

Satanic Planet "Dead Deities"

LP - $17.50
LP UPC: 781676572212
STREET DATE: 10/30/26
CAT#: 31G163
LABEL: Three One G

In Dead Deities, SATANIC PLANET’s new album on Three One G/ Relapse Records, we see a band coming into its own while offering an aggressive, pitch-black, deeply surly call-to-arms against autocracy in the age of Christian nationalism. Lucien Greaves (The Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera, First Power Crew, Variations In the Key of the Afterlife), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross), and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Swing Kids, Deaf Club) are now a fully together-in-the-studio band with razor-sharpened focus, creating a sound and lyrical catalog of ideas that Greaves says is both more personal and even closer aligned to the goals of The Satanic Temple, which through art, action, and activism seeks to “encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practiced common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits.” The Satanic Temple and SATANIC PLANET are here to empower all those who are needed in the ongoing battle against theocracy, apathy, and inequality.

Dead Deities begins as a brooding, doomy soundscape with backwards ritualistic vocals that churn forward like a barbaric horror flick scene before launching into the aptly named “Antichrist,” with a hypnotic, screamy post-post-post-hardcore intro that melds into a slow, nasty, heavy vision of what pop music might sound like in Hell. This 11-track stygian brute of an album is a journey through modern dark music with tolling bells, blackened synth, diabolical noise interludes, drums as heavy as a mountain, and group vocals torn straight out of your best-worst nightmares.

The record’s first single, “Sam Alito’s Mom,” references the arch-conservative Supreme Court Justice known for his work in helping to overturn Roe v. Wade. The track is an all-out assault on an absolute piece of human dogshit with Greaves and Pearson’s vocals twisting around each other like cobras at a slow, growling pace of pure sunless devastation. This is music that has come from decades of in-the-trenches touring and experimentation, from Slayer to the Locust, Planet B’s avant-garde sci-fi hip-hop to Mr. Bungle’s bizarro metal orchestrations. In Dead Deities you feel this godless wave of collected history building up to birth a gruesome new monster.

In an age of regression, reversed social betterment, and the label “terrorist” slapped on anyone brave enough to oppose the men in power, this is protest music with bite and bark in lethal, equal doses. If the goal is us taking care of each in dangerous times, SATANIC PLANET has your back (while holding the gore-dripping, ripped-out spinal column of your enemy up to the blood-red sun). SATANIC PLANET’s Dead Deities is flag-burning, cross-toppling annihilation, all in the service of shaping a better, kinder, more livable world.

NØ MAN is a Washington, D.C. political hardcore punk band formed in 2017. Featuring Maha Shami on vocals, Matthew Michel on guitar, Pat Broderick on drums, and Kevin Lamiell on bass, the band features members of Majority Rule.

Between the Sword and the Neck is NØ MAN’s fourth LP and their second album with Iodine Recordings. Across a blistering 26-minute runtime, the band merges pummeling hardcore, political urgency, grief, love, rage, and Palestinian poetry into their most vulnerable and unrelenting work to date.

The album is rooted in the Arabic word “sumud,” meaning steadfastness or perseverance, and channels vocalist Maha Shami’s lived experience as a daughter of Palestinian refugees. The title Between the Sword and the Neck is taken from Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, referencing the impossibility of genuine negotiation between an oppressor and the oppressed.

Throughout the record, Shami’s lyricism draws from Palestinian history, poetry, family, grief, resistance, survival, and refusal of erasure. The album features guest vocals from Kat Hidalgo and Jenna Pup on “In Spite,” quotations from Ghassan Kanafani, Fadwa Tuqan, and Mahmoud Darwish on “In Tongues,” and names of lives lost to the occupation read by friends and family on “They Have Names.”

Recorded and self-produced by the band, mixed by Matthew Michel, and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, Between the Sword and the Neck stands as NØ MAN’s most intimate and politically charged statement to date.

Inspired by 90’s emo and alternative rock, MyVeronica began as the solo project of singer/guitarist Mia Lin. Now a four-piece band, MyVeronica is still an outlet for “exploring the deeply personal through the universal,” shares Lin. The band seeks catharsis and exorcism: accessing the deep, sensitive part of yourself that doesn’t have space in daily life.

Their debut album, "I Hope There's Music in Heaven," is set to release on August 21, 2026 on Sunday Drive Records. Channeling the heartfelt and emotional songwriting of their inspirations (Mineral, Sonic Youth, Sunny Day Real Estate), the band expands upon their previous releases with heavier guitars, earnest lyrics and soundscapes of noise. Boss Keloid "Float & Aperture"

2xLP - $28.15 / CD - $12.00
STREET DATE: 10/23/26
CAT#: CRR268
LABEL: Church Road

Boss Keloid seemingly achieves the impossible with each album they create, upholding familiarity in their sound whilst never remaining static. They are forever growing new limbs on their tree of creativity. Even after a decade in the game, this tree remains evergreen as these UK prog-rock mainstays find new and exciting ways to catch the listener’s intrigue. This is never more present than on their forthcoming LP ‘Float & Aperture’, poised to greet you like a good friend who's ready to lead you on a new adventure of sonic wonder.

Before undertaking this latest project, the band sought to find ways to unlock new methods of creativity, finding the best path was through collaboration.

“We wanted to challenge ourselves and each other more than ever during the writing process for this album, and developed a completely new way of working together as a result. Our writing process was more collaborative, experimental, and challenging than ever. We encouraged each other to tap into our musical and personal influences, as well as life experiences to generate ideas. We wanted more focus and enjoyment around the interplay and dynamics between melody and rhythm, and a better clarity and balance between our instruments and parts. We couldn't be happier with the result, and believe this is our strongest work to date” - Boss Keloid

Like the band's previous work, the lyrical content of each song on the album is drawn from personal experiences, difficulties, and life lessons. Vocalist Alex Hurst works to shape and describe these stories in a way which can be interpreted on a personal level by anyone, and hopefully align with their own lives. He sums up the overall theme of the album as follows:

"Embracing life, rolling with the punches and the waves of beauty, and not being afraid to channel and express those experiences through art, music, love, anger and wisdom. Experience tells a story if you don’t mind sharing it."

Boss Keloid has an impeccable release history, having already given flight to five critically acclaimed albums over the course of their career. Their last album ‘Family The Smiling Thrush’ made it into Metal Hammer’s top releases of 2021 and had Dom Lawson from Blabbermouth proclaiming “If it's a modern classic you want, look no further”. This sentiment is also shared for their live performances. Truly at home on the stage, the band ascends to even greater levels than their recorded output, delivering incredibly powerful and life-affirming performances.

The long and short of it is, where Boss Keloid goes, greatness follows and there’s no exception with this latest outing. This is another amazing chapter in the career of a band with an already glowing and rich history. Long standing fans will have their hunger satisfied, and for those joining the ride here, get ready to have your minds blown by ‘Float & Aperture’. Set for release on October 23rd via Church Road Records.

Tummyache "Repeat in Reverse"

LP - $17.25
LP UPC: 880475558786
STREET DATE: 10/16/26
CAT#: DD-004
LABEL: Devil Dog

Tummyache is a project that blurs the line between band and personal confession, a raw and enigmatic expression crafted by songwriter and producer Soren Bryce. Since its inception in 2018, Tummyache has carved out a space in the DIY scenes of both the United States and the UK, resonating with listeners who feel the weight of systemic struggles and societal expectations. Bryce’s music pulls no punches; her lyrics confront issues of class, privilege, and inner conflict, inviting listeners to face the harsh realities she lays bare.

Tummyache is a fiercely independent, DIY-driven band rooted in community, care, and creative freedom. Together they approach music as a shared space rather than a product —prioritising connection, inclusivity, and honest expression over commercial goals. Their shows are built around mutual respect, accessibility, and collaboration, often supporting grassroots causes and creating environments where everyone feels welcome to participate or contribute. Tummyache itself has been a vessel for several long and short term creative partnerships within the framework of itself as a ‘band’, with Soren Bryce acting as the central force.

‘Repeat in Reverse’ - the fourth album due October 2026 - is an in-depth examination of the after effects of grief, through the personal experience of Soren losing her father two years ago. From intimate tape recordings from her flat to visceral screaming, it captures the cyclical nature of grief and it’s ability to invade and infect day to day life - how there is no light without dark, no acceptance without breaking, and no love without growth.

Recut in 2026 with updated art and packaging, the 12" LP comes with a full color jacket, printed inner sleeve, and three limited vinyl colors. Also available on cassette.

Founded in 2002 in Italy, Raein released a dizzying amount of music, across multiple splits, EPs and albums, while extensively touring the world during their original run. Reformed in 2023, Raein is considered to be one of the leaders in emotional hardcore, melding melody and discordance into something truly beautiful to experience.

Hailing from Lyon, France, Daitro delivered a perfect blend of hardcore and emo, proving that there are still some bands that possess the power and spirit of do-it-yourself punk that the original French emo movement held in the 90’s. In their heyday, Daitro toured the globe throughout the early 2000’s and released several albums, EPs and split releases. They remain highly regarded and influential in the contemporary DIY screamo and post-hardcore scene.

Wrong Man "Here's That Feeling"

LP - $17.25
LP UPC: 641956287895
STREET DATE: 10/09/26
CAT#: DW273
LABEL: Deathwish Inc.

With a sound that reflects an eclectic range of influences, Wrong Man continue to forge their own path with every record they release, and every song they write. Their unique brand of soulful post hardcore is equal parts noisy and melodic, at times bluesy and moody.

Having played in previous bands like Oathbreaker, Partisan & Rise And Fall, Wrong Man formed to do something different than previous projects. Following their rocking, very ‘90s inspired debut, “Who Are You?” (2022), Wrong Man expanded their sound on “Big Plans”(2023), offering more sonic pushes and pulls. “Here’s That Feeling” (2026), the band’s debut full length (released by longtime friends and associates Deathwish Inc), sees Wrong Man sharpen its post-hardcore foundation into something more versatile and expressive, fusing urgency and melody with brooding tension, and undeniably catchy choruses.

Here’s That Feeling is the debut full-length from Wrong Man, following two EPs that set the stage for the band’s evolving voice. Across nine tracks, the band sharpens its post-hardcore foundation into something more expansive and expressive, fusing urgency and melody with brooding tension and undeniably catchy choruses.

Rooted in the rawness of ’70s proto-punk and the restless spirit of ’90s indie and Dischord-era post-hardcore, the record carries echoes of Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu, Quicksand, Sonic Youth, and The Wipers, while pushing forward with a sound that feels distinctly their own. Songs unfold through dynamic shifts and inventive guitar work, carrying a deep emotional undercurrent and a constant pull toward unfiltered expression.

Recorded in Kortrijk with Michael Neyt (Oathbreaker, Predatory Void, Feverchild) and mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Torche, High On Fire) at God City, the album also features guest vocals from Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré). As Wrong Man’s debut release on Deathwish Inc., Here’s That Feeling marks a defining step forward, capturing a band stretching its sound while holding tight to its emotional core.

ha•zel "ha•zel"

CD - $7.00
STREET DATE: 09/25/26
CAT#: SDR-168
LABEL: Sunday Drive

There’s a difficult balance in writing music that feels both heavy and delicate, but Los Angeles band Ha•zel manages it effortlessly throughout their self-titled debut EP. After releasing a single, “Eyes Meant 4 Me,” in early 2025, the band returns with five new tracks on their debut EP, arriving in fall 2026 via Sunday Drive Records.

Across the release, Ha•zel blends heavy, 00’s post-hardcore and ’90s alternative rock riffs with moments of restraint. Vocalist Julieta Burgos carries each song with a strong performance, weaving between English and Spanish with melancholic lyrics. The band knows when to pull back, allowing quietness and melodies to elevate Julieta’s voice.

Lead single “Piel Del Tierra” is the EP’s centerpiece, beginning with a slow burn before building into a massive, soaring chorus that captures everything Ha•zel does best. With only six songs to their name, Ha•zel has already established a distinct identity that is full of promise for what comes next.

Burner "No One Is Coming To Save Us"

LP - $19.40 / CD - $12.00
STREET DATE: 09/25/26
CAT#: CRR264
LABEL: Church Road

Across these 11 blistering tracks, Burner explores bold new soundscapes, touching on serene post-metal hooks and a cinematic atmosphere that only adds to their seasoned experience in creating captivating and punishing music. In collaborating with iconic vocalists Matthew K. Heafy (Trivium), Josh Middleton (Sylosis) and Anthony Lucero (Cult Leader), Burner take a striking step forward to claim new territory while consolidating their extreme and unique sound into the heaviest and bleakest incarnation of their craft yet.

Vocalist Harry Nott elaborates on the themes behind the new album:

“If It All Returns To Nothing looked outwards to the world’s chaos throughout history, No One Is Coming To Save Us instead looks inwards at its proposed cause; humanity’s violent, animalistic nature, begging us for change. This is an album about human behaviour: that people create endless cycles of violence by repeating the mistakes of the past, forging a brutal history that we fail to learn from.

But, at the same time, the album is about questioning whether we can ever get past those sins and repetitions. This is a record that is mournful as much as it is angry and engaged. It longs to bitterly recall the moments of greatness and sacrifice in our shared history that created the better world we currently destroy. It longs to look back at these moments for inspiration and optimism, at a time where it feels like hope is running thin.

The album is also a struggle for hope, not just that humanity can overcome hatred and violence, but that we can look back on our greatest moments and take courage to build a better world. No One Is Coming To Save Us reflects this duality in its title: that no one will come to save us from the violence and tragedy we create as part of our humanity. But it also proposes that it’s up to us to change – to overcome a violent human nature and usher in a better tomorrow.”

Burner possesses the incredible ability to weave death metal, hardcore and fractions of black metal into their calculated disorder. With most bands having palpable influences, Burner impresses further by wearing theirs with a sense of real diversity, touching everything from Trap Them, Darkest Hour, and Gatecreeper to Converge, Bolt Thrower, The Acacia Strain and more.

‘No One is Coming to Save Us’ is the soundtrack to the destruction of humanity - brace yourselves!
